Mothers Day / Serving others
Honoring Mom's and serving others
Date: Saturday, May 21st
Time: 10:00 AM until 2:00 Where: Meet at the Golgotha Skate Park Bring: Water, Bag lunch, Clothes to get dirty in This month, we want to do something special for the mom's in honor of Mother's Day. We will be making over-sized chocolate chip cookies for our moms. We will also take a break during the day and head to a local gas station to serve others by washing their windows and pass out tracts. This is a different type of event for Brother to Brother but we want to give the boys an example to live out the verse Philippians 2:3 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves." (NIV)

Upcoming Events
June 4th: Men At Arms:
On June 4th we will be joining with the Men at Arms ministry for some service projects. Let us know if you will be joining us. Previous projects have included some carpentry, yard work and helping people move.
Brother to Brother will not be officially participating in the June 4th Men at Arms activity due to a conflict with the Mentor appreciation luncheon that some of our boys and mentors will be attending. If you are not attending the luncheon, you are still welcome to join the Men at Arms activity. (See info below for June 25 service project.)

We are still working on the details for our June event.
June 25: Service Project:
One of our Brother to Brother families is moving on June 25th and has requested our help. Let us know if you can join us. Many hands make the work easier and we can use as much help as we can get!
July 15th:Lock-In
July's event will be on a Friday night. We will be meeting at the church for 12 hours of fun. If you were with us last year, you know what to expect. More games, pizza, contests and more laser tag. We are opening up the laser tag part of the evening so that you can bring a friend. (Parents of your friend will be expected to pick them up when the laser tag portion of the evening is over.) Cost is expected to be between $15-$20 each. We will let you know more information as we iron out the details.
